Hi all,
I use CCE 2.67 to convert huffyuv compressed avi files (720x576, YUY2) from captured analog TV into mpeg-2 to record on dvd resulting in encoding speeds between 0,5 and 0,6 x realtime . CPU usage is between 80 and 90 %.
My system:
Windows XP
CPU: P-4 2.4 GHz
RAM: 768 DDR
Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-8PE667 Pro
Graphics card: MSI Geforce3 Ti200
Skipping through various forums i saw people with similar hardware talk about 2 x realtime. I already tried to stop unneeded processes such as Webshots, WindowBlinds and antivirus software, without any effect on encoding time.
Any ideas how to speed things up?
Thanks in advance.
