    PAL problems ... any idea?

    Im burning a DVD in PAL format, encoded all the MPEG II files in TMPGEnc Plus and have tried authoring the DVD in several programs like Encore DVD, the TMPGenc DVD Author, Nero etc.

    When i play them back on my TV the video won't fit on the screen.

    Anyone got any ideas? I tried NTSC but got the same problem

      What region is your TV ? (PAL or NTSC)

      Do they playback in the correct size on your PC?

      Try turning the AUTO ZOOM zoom off on your TV/DVD player,
      have a read of your manuals for TV/DVD player.

          the TV is PAL

          i've tried it on 2 different TVs and DVD Players and same problem

          The DVD plays fine on the PC though.

          Tried all the settings for DVD players and no luck
