Program to copy movie from hd to dvd

I would like to copy an .mpg movie from my hd to a dvd. I used tmpgenc to convert it and Easy DVD Creator to burn it but the prog only allows me to copy the movie as a data file. The movie plays on the DVD player but won't let me fast forward or reverse, only pause. Can someone tell me what program I need?

The "Easy DVD Creator" is (to many) not so Easy.

If the movie is DVD structured correctly, you could open it with DVDShrink and encode/compress to the 4,464 size (or thereabouts) and then use IMG Tools Classic v. 0.91.1 (from : Coujo.de) and DVDDecrypter v. 3.1.9.0 to burn that dvd with.....they are freewares. If DVDShrink won't open the DVD file on your hdd, then it is usually not structured correctly (something missing, etc.). 'Shrink v. 3.0 Beta 5 is good to learn with and very easy to use guides are at dvdshrink.info (ddlooping's site).
