Can't seem to make a reauthored backup play correctly

During the reauthoring process, the instructions say to drag the menus and "title 1" over to the left side of the screen, and rip, but after burning, the menus only play (they are not interactive). If the main title is first with the menus last, the movie plays through fine, and then the menus only play at the end (once again not interactive).

Everything seems to work well while doing a full backup, but during a reauthor, the only thing that seems to work is backing up the movie only.

Anyone seen this before??

hi, what program are you talking about?
if you're talking about dvdshrink you can not reauthor with menus, only main movie.

If you are wanting to Re-Author and keep some of the menus, then you would need DVDStripper, IFO Edit, etc., or something similar to work with the files "before" you shrink the ripped files.

Dvdstripper and ifo edit are freewares.
