    Wired problem

    Hello everyone.

I am a new user of DVD shrink program.
So I copied my first DVD, using DVD shrink with authoring function to read the disc, and burning it with Nero.

    The problem:
When I tried to play it on DVD player, it started OK. Then, instead of a movie, my DVD player logo came on, but the counter on DVD player would countinue. To to see the movie, I had to press Fast Forward button for a second and then it seemed to be working fine.

Is there any way to fix that?

    Thanks
    Dave

Can you play the DVD on your PC?

      Hi cynthia
Thank you very much for your replay. I tried to play on PC and it worked fine, but it goes like this:
at first for a split of a second it shows "This mivie was modified ...." and then goes and plays the movie, on the DVD player the message is displayed much longer, and then movie dissapiers and DVD player logo is diplayed on the screen.

      Thanks
      Dave

It could just be down to protection.
Try ripping in DVD Decrypter to hard drive making sure 'all files' is selected, not 'just movie', then 'Open Files' in DVD Shrink.

          Thank you for reply.

I thought that DVD Shrink would do the ripping job for me.
Should I run DVD Decrypter on every movie, just to be on the safe side? Is tere any way to see the problem before I burn DVD?

          Thanks again
          Dave

The times I've resorted to Decrypter I found out rather quickly - Shrink couldn't scan it.
I'm not promising this is your problem solved. You'll need to try it.
Some folk I think do use Decrypter every time but it's down to choice.
