I don't know whether this is the right section, but is there a way of reducing the sound volume at the end of a film, ie have recorded a film from the telly to DVD, copied it to my PC using DVD Shrink. There is a very small gap between the end of the film credits and the next item, so you get a sudden cut of in the film sound track, when editing out the next item. Is there a bit of software preferably free so I can do this.

Do you mean you want to fade the volume down?
Presumably you've recorded in mpeg2 or do you have an AVI?
I don't know off-hand of an app to do this but someone else might.
