I am not sure if this is the right area or not but someone here will probably know.
I rip my movies using smartripper. The only thing I pull from the DVD is the video and the AC3-6channel audio. I have a dolby digital system so I figure that is the audio channel I want. Anyway the sounds of my rips are much quieter and seem to be of less quality than the original. The audio also does not kick on the digital light on my receiver that represents dolby digital. The video appears to be fine it is just the noticeable difference in audio I am concerned about.
Another question for you is that I want to enhance my start menu screens. Is there any sites that give more advanced directions of using spruce up? All I currently do now is make about 9 chapters on the screen. I would like to make menus and submenus. Another thing that would be cool would be to have audio on my title page as well. If there is anyone that can help me let me know.
