Menu + Transitions Problems
I'm working on a Menu that uses transitions to enter or to exit a still Menu. Each transition is a short movie file placed in a track tile, which jumps when finished to the menu tile or the other way around.
Problem No.1
The brightness of the transition (movie file) and the still menu (mostly PICT or Photoshop file) don't match. (Although both origin form the same source - the still Menu is just a still frame taken from the transition sequence.) The still is always brighter than the transition, which makes a noticeable jump between transitions and still menu.
Problem No.2
Every time the still goes into the transition or the transition goes into the still menu there is always a second where the whole picture gets slightly fractured - as if the upper and lower filed are separated (mostly horizontal line artifacts appear).
My goal is to make the visual as seamless as possible and therefore I would need some advise to fix those problems.
