If you desire to put a two-DVD set onto one DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-R/W, or DVD+R/W, by all means, use DVDShrink.
DVD Shrink is excellent freeware - which can also be used for ANY and ALL DVD compression requirements you may have. If you haven't already done so, I'd suggest you read the many postings in the DVD Shrink-specific sub-forum here...
