dvd backup

hi there,
my name is mick and i just joined the forum today, I'm having a little problem. I have been using dvd shrink for a while now and never had any problems, I have been using the latest version to. Now my problem is i, bought 2 new dvd's today and went to make backup copy's. everything worked as usual UNTIL i played them back on my dvd player, the movies stick at certain parts, the originals play perfectly so its not them or my player i've also tried xcopy and the same result. Are they using new encryption that is not supported in dvd shrink this is the first time this has happened i have already made about 100 backups and they all play perfectly does anyone know a solution or is there anywhere that anyone knows that could help.

I am using the lastest Shrink beta 5 and no such problems. Whenever I encounter the "sticking" or "studdering" problem, it has been associated with the drive not being able to read the media.

Just the other day, I had a backup disc that I put into a different PC than the one I used to create the backup. It got "stuck" after half an hour or so. I put it back in the drive used to create it and it played fine.

There is NO change to the encryption schemes. There are other posts where some have problems with the V3 betas, so you may want to scan those. Different media can certainly cause such problems too.
