no recorder in nero

thanks for all the comments.....................but still trying

when I go to choose a recorder in nero burner my dvd rom is checked as "not available".
My first 3 attempts at burning dvd's where very successful but now I am having no luck at all (after many attempts)
Neither is it the dvd rom available in img tool (only image recorder), when It was initially
I have done what I can to turn these Things "ON"
Please what do i need to do to get this hardware working?

Have you installed another program that has burning capabilities?
have you installed another burning program or a tool that
provides installing new virtual drives and /or drivelock capabilities?
have you you used a keygen or a crack to get nero???

in most of these cases it helps to reinstall nero after
uninstalling ...that means also deleting the registry entries, that
nero has performed during setup......(if illegally obtained)
get a legal full legal version!!! for now it helps to reinstall!

and /or get the update from ahead.de or nero.com.......
