    ifoedit play "no dvd-video files"?

I used smart ripper to rip the DVD "midnight express." (created a backup). Then I tried to play the movie using InterVideo WinDVD's play DVD from folder option. Didn't work, but no error message - just nothing happened. Then I dloaded IFOedit, and opened up the video-ts file, pressed the play button. getting a message no DVD-video files found or something like that, I press OK and then it plays. Is it safe to burn this to disk to play in a dvd-player?
    thanks

    Doesn't sound good.

Burn it to a DVD-R/W or DVD+R/W (whichever is appropriate for your standalone DVD player) and see if it works. That way, you can always erase it...

tylly, it's not really safe to burn it if your dvd player software can't play it. Sure sure you have it ripped in BACKUP or in FULL MODE
