problem I seem to be having with Shrink DVD

Hey all, first let me say I am new to the forums and at backing up my DVD's.

Any way here is my problem, I use DVD decryptor to actually rip a dvd (any dvd no specific one.) and that works ok, I can watch the whole thing etc on my PC. So I move on to Shrink and use the default compression etc it comes up with to fit everything on one disk. I go ahead choose to Backup and it shrinks away. It goes through the whole process and says everything is fine at the end. What I am coming to find is it is missing certain files, so when I start watching the movie to make sure it is all there, I may get 3/4 of the way through, then there is some part of the main movie missing and it cant go any further. It doesn't do this everytime, but it does it more often or not, so I end up shrinking the ripped files over and over until I get one that is 100% correct. Is this a known problem, and is there a fix for it? MY system specs below
P4 2.53ghz processor
ATI 9700pro video card.
Maxtor and Seagate 40 gig drives for storage.
Memorex + and - R/rw burner
Win2k OS with all updates.
1gig of Samsung pc2700 memory.
Abit BH7 mother board.
