Small burning problem

Forgive me for my lack of knowledge on the subject. i recently purchased th HP 300e dvd-rw. The software they provide is ArcSoft Showbiz DVD and record now. I rip a dvd with Claddvd XP so that I get VOB files, so I can make a copy of the dvd. When i got to burn the DvD I don't get an option to use the VOB files. Is there better software to use for the ripping or buring process? Am I doing something wrong here.

Basically, the main objective is to make an exact cop of my dvd.

Lastly, what forum could i post a DV capture problem in?

You might want to use NERO (in "DVD-Video" mode) for burning...
