intializin engine mess. while trying to burn

I have been trying to burn a backed up copy of a couple of dvd's with copytodvd, which was included with dvdshrink. I keep getting a message "initializing engine"...and it just hangs. I have been able to burn with Roxio but the sound file is not supported. I can burn other files with copytodvd but not files from dvdshrink. I need help! I have spent several hours with copytodvd tech support. Thx

Unless you've been ripped off, you're mistaken. DVD Shrink is freeware - and the only thing you get when you download DVD Shrink is - DVD Shrink...

What version number of DVD Shrink do you have?
    Where did you obtain it?

If you are referring to a burning program, I prefer NERO...

I think somebody should inform Dr Shrink about this, it's well out of order and I hate the sponging rip off tossers who do it.

Another question: I can view my dvdshrink files on Roxio with full menu capabilities and sound. When i go to dvdbuilder (Roxio) it says that it's an AC# sound file which will not be recognized. And when I try and move the files to burn I can not here sound, nor do i see the menus etc. Is there a downlodable trial burning software that might work better?
