Someone help !! please !

i need help, i have a sony 510a dvd burner, i got the software install ( dvd decrypter ) and ( TMPGenc 2.5 ), iv tried and i think all im doing is confusing myslef badly. If someone could take the time to tell me what i need to do to so i can get these movies from dvds and burn em to a new dvd.
I tried using my dvd x copy, the only problem is that when i use it on certain dvds, it doesnt burn the movie, it just burns the title or up till the main title screen.
Any one that could help me out, ill reward ya somehow.
