    cannot open file

I have followed a guide for backing up dvd's into other dvd's I am using Pinnacle Instant copy i have all updates etc.The decryption mode i used was in IFO. Then in Pinnacle i set the way i wanted my dvd after that i started the process and i loaded my ifo file to start but each time i do this an error is coming up "cannot open file "E:\HANNIBAL\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO" the system cannot find the file specified" (Note: the ifo file is not displayed automatically when i look into the folder, i still have to select FILES OF TYPE :ALL FILES (bottom menu)then choose the file manually).

any suggestions (should i rip the dvd into iso or what ?)

Use DVD Decrypter to rip in "File" mode - From the "Edit" dropdown menu, select "ALL files" (NOT "movie files")...

          Failed while Decrypting

I have set dvd decrypter in file mode and selected all files. When the decrypting process arrives to 16% this error comes up.
          Device Authentication failed
          Reason:Failed to get varient

What the cause is there a way to avoid it!

            1) Is your source DVD an ORIGINAL COMMERCIAL DVD, a "bootleg" Asian DVD, or a copy of a DVD?

            2) Can you successfully PLAY your source DVD, from beginning to end, on your PC?

            3) List here ALL filenames that appear on the DVD

10nkx for the support SETARIP !

You're very fast man for replying i'm proud
that i found someone interested in viideo encoding 10nkx again man.

I've sorted out the problem at least this time. The problem was that my dvd decrypter version was a little bit old and i upgraded it to the latest version avalible.
besides that i ticked all the Remove protections bars listed in the file mode menu.As i tried again the decryption worked sucessfully.
