    Burning Help

Hello all. I am new to this forum and I hope my ignorance on these subject matters will not annoy anyone.
I am using InterVideo WinDVD software. When I burn a movie onto the DVD (it takes a long time) I can put it in my home DVD player, but no audio? Now, my burning hardware has an anolog audio cable. My home player is set up threw my reciever for digitial sound. Is that why I have no audio?

also, does anyone recomend anything better as far as software goes? Roxio came with my burner, it always say 'write failure" so i downloaded the Intrevideo DVD Creator. It works but is slow, it actually views the movie x2 first, and burns x2.???

    thanks for any help.

Hullo Eagle, your audio cable should not be the problem.
I'm assuming you're using the "Play DVD folder" in WinDVD?
Most folk here seem dissatisfied with Roxio software.
What source of video files are you working with, TV/camera/download? If backing up your commercial DVD then check out DVD Shrink. Read about it in http://www.dvdr-digest.com/articles/
