    DVD - transferring from DVD to VIDEO

    I am wondering how I can transfer a Digital movie file to a Video tape? Is this possible?

    Usually, this requires a "little black box" that's capable of turning off Macrovision protection...

      What you intend can become expensive (if you want high quality results). Usually the easiest and best solution for the "average" computer user is to have a computer dvd burner and utilize the "temporary record" feature of the rw disc to contain the decrypted (and removed macrovision) movie.

      You can then play the movie in the standalone with the s-video (or composite (r.c.a. jack) out to the v.c.r s-video (or composite) in.

      There are easy to use freeware solutions.

      P - 4 @ 1.7 Ghz, 768 mb (133) Ram, Intel 845 chipset M'board, Seagate 60 Gig., 5400 rpsm hdd, Maxtor 40 Gig. 7200 rpm hdd, Hauppauge 880 pvr card, etc.. O.S. - XP Home Edition.
