how do you burn directly from your dvd-rom to your dvd burner

----- Anyone knows of any SOFTWARE that can let you burn dvd's [copy protected] directly from your dvd-rom to your dvd burner so you don't have to use your HD . I don't know if this can be done or not, I was searching for tips on the forums but I only found how to burn using some other ways. So, if any of you can help me here I'll appreciate it. THANK YOU.

Sounds like somebody could use a hdd upgrade. Hdd's (with rebate(s)) are less than $1.00 per gig. 100 gig is about the minimum for the serious dvd back-up'er. Try a 7200 rpm for faster ripping and encoding...Maxtor (entry-level 7200) is preferred by many.
      Rig :

      P - 4 @ 1.7 Ghz, 768 mb (133) Ram, Intel 845 chipset M'board, Seagate 60 Gig., 5400 rpsm hdd, Maxtor 40 Gig. 7200 rpm hdd, Hauppauge 880 pvr card, etc.. O.S. - XP Home Edition.
