How to get working menu's??

Hi, Found this forum by accident and it has helped me a lot since I am just starting out on backing up DVD's, but I still have a couple of questions.

I use Decrypter, then Shrink then IMG tool to burn (or Nero or Record Now Max)

My questions are:

1. How do you make a back up where the menu works, i.e selecting the "scene index" or the "play movie" tab. Every time I try I just can not select the tab.

2. Why will nothing I burn work on my Pioneer stand alone but works on cheaper machines?

Are you using reauthor in Shrink? Use full disc backup rather than reauthor in Shrink.

Software such as Titleset Blanker or DVD Stripper can take out anything you don't wasnt prior to using Shrink.

Make sure your player can play the discs you burn.

Yes, I have used both re-author and full back up but the menus have to be skipped to get to the main movie.
