    farshad,

    Hi,

Do use DVD when you are posting about a DVD, instead of saying CD (lthere is then, less confusion and is easier to answer with solution to your problem).

If you want to see if the dvd's (datalife DVD-R's), will write at 4 X, download and install DVDDecrypter v. 3.1.9.0. Then put a DATA-LIFE DVD - R in burner, start-up DVDDecrypter, on DVDDecrypter's interface : Click on MODE, Click on ISO, Click on Write and then wait some seconds and look in right side scroll down of interface, and you can see "write speed" supported of the DATA LIFE DVD - R. DVDDecrypter will show if the DVD-R is rated at 1 X, 2 X, 4 X, etc..

If the DATA LIFE DVD - R has been burned already by Nero, etc., then use a new "blank" DVD - R, and then see. Make sure the burner is selected in left side of interface of DVDDecrypter (there is a selector there).
    Rig :

    P - 4 @ 1.7 Ghz, 768 mb (133) Ram, Intel 845 chipset M'board, Seagate 60 Gig., 5400 rpsm hdd, Maxtor 40 Gig. 7200 rpm hdd, Hauppauge 880 pvr card, etc.. O.S. - XP Home Edition.
