burning on stand alone burners
i have a question, i recently purchased a stand alone burner and i have been getting the "recording prohibited" msg pop up when i try to record various things. Even some of the VHS recordings i have attempted to make have been prohibited by my unit. But on the other hand, recordings that you would think you would not be able to record, do so without any probelm, such as DVD releases by some major movie rental corporations such as Blockbuster and Hollywood video. It seems like a crapshoot as to what my unit will let me record and what it won't. Is there anyway to tell what will record, is there a way to bypass this probelm, how does one dvd differentiate from another as to what will record and what will not. HELP ME OUT PLEASE!
