help with PAL, not converting, just copying

Hi,
I've got a concert video i bought from ebay that is in PAL format. i know it's a pain to convert it and i'll deal with that later. however, i would like to make some copies for friends in the UK.

i've burned plenty of dvds using dvd shrink, and never had a problem. however when i try to burn this pal disc(either reauthor or backup) i cannot. i can see the vob files, etc, but i get some invalid format error when i try backup and i only get one small clip when i try reauthor.

any help is appreciated. thanks.

really? why? it's an illegal video to begin with, isn't it? sorry if i broke some rule, i'll look around elsewhere for help.
