Error at the Beginning

While backing-up DVD's, I have noticed thay I have sometimes a small error during the first 2 minutes. So, I would like to add to each of my back-up's 2 minutes of "anything" at the beginning of the DVD. Have you got a simple way of doing this? Thanks an forgive my bad knowledge of English.

What software and procedures are you using to backup you DVDs?

What is the nature of this "small error"?

Thanks. I use Shrink and Nero. The error is that I skip a few pictures (well: 20/ 30 seconds). Sometimes with and sometimes wiithout a black screen. I have had this once or twice on my pc, but often (6/10) on my home ("saloon") DVD player (samsung).
