IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL when using DVD Shrink

I have been trying to use DVD Shrink on my XP Pro Compaq Presario P3/512MB RAM but i get the "Blue screen of Death" oh so often !!!The error is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Funny thing is sometimes it happens in 5 mins other times after 40 minutes. Believe me i have gone thru so many forums and tried everything from buying new memory, upgrading drivers, removing anti-virus, diagnostics,PC-doctor and all that. Havent found any conflicts or bad hardware. Im convinced its not the DVD Drive either as my old DVD Read gives the same problem and ive even replaced memory altogether. I upgraded to XP from 2000 a month ago. All my other programs are working perfectly well except DVDShrink!! Help!!
