Hi there,
I discussed subtitle authoring in this thread but I still need help on something.
Like I said in the forementioned thread, software players (WinDVD/PowerDVD) seem to handle subtitle placement differently than my standalone dvd player.
Now my standalone player doesn't seem to like DVD+RW discs
Consequently I need to 'guess' subtitle placement, burn a DVD-R and try if it's good.
Obviously, this "trial-and-error" method sucks and may cost me a bunch of DVD-R discs
Please help. Is there a way I can
- be sure the subtitle placement is correct before I burn it on DVD-R?
OR
- fool my standalone dvd player into playing DVD+RW discs?
