    1x,2x,4x,8x

    is there any difference with the quality of a dvd's produced
    in respect to the write speed ie lower speed high quality or
    high speed low quality?

    If you burn at 4x or faster there is a risk of skipping or freezing in the video with poorer made DVD's. I have also had some players which won't recognise the disc unless it is burnt at 2.4x maximum.

    I only burn at 2x and 2.4x and then just use Ritek (G03,G04) made discs. I prefer their grade A discs such as Ridisc, Ridata and Traxdata brands.
