I just started using DVD Ripper and Copying Suite, DVD Shrink 3.1 and Nero6 and was under the impression that with this combination of software I could write to DVD r/rw discs w/ a CDr/rw burner. How badly mistaken am I?
In order to write to DVD-R's you will need a DVD burner. There is no way around this, CD-R and DVD-R are two completely different format. If you're looking into backing up DVD movies on to a CD-R check out info on VCD's here:
