Please Help with Burning

I kno i new to this site and if this was asked before then im sorry, but i need help with burning dvd's since im new to this. I have a dvd+rw burner. I was able to get the mpg file i wanted into the video_ts, and when i tried to burn it, my ps2 was tellin me that the tv system does not match, and my dvd player tells me that the disc is invalid. I think it has something to do with the resolution of the file because DVD-Lab tells me that the file is an svcd size used for dvd, and that it might not play on all dvd players. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank u

Did you actually go through the process of authoring the DVD, or did you just burn a .MPG file in the VIDEO_TS directory?

i think i used DVD-Lab to get the video_ts files from the mpg, i tried other ways and it wasn't working, if u kno a way that works can u please let me kno, u can IM me on AIM at KingGanon V1
