Help wanted please

Hi

I have made some copy of dvd's and there was no problem. Until Now!!

Now suddely I get the message that there is read error. If I shot down my computer and start it again I can make one copy the next one I want to make get read error on. This is also on copies that I have made copies of before. Now I can't because of read error.

What is wrong? Please help me.

Which software are you using?

If you are trying to backup a backup and you are receiving read errors have you tested the backup to see if it plays all the way through on your DVD player.

Have you tried ripping the DVD to your hard drive first using DVD Decrypter.... here is a guide http://www.dvdshrink.info/dvd-decrypter.php.

Some folks have had a higher success rate reading the backup with the writer that actually did the burning.

If you do want to backup your backups (not sure why you would) invest in high quality media.
