Hi all,
This is my last stab before I give up. I have a TDK 420n burner on XP, and I burned back up files on Memorex DVD+R using Nero version 7.1. I have photos, AVI, MPEG, WAVs, MP3 and docs. Now all of a sudden I cannot access these files. I have been using these discs for about 3 months with no issues. Now when I insert disc the thing just sits there with a steady green light and if reader does recognize it ,it locks up when I try to access a file. Locks my entire computer and I have to eject the disc . I can play normal comm. discs . I have cleaned the discs, and ran a lens cleaner. I tried to recover by copying entire disc in Nero but that errors out. I contacted TDK tech sup. and of course they blame Nero. Why would they work fine and then stop working ? I have been researching this for a week now. I have a ton of stuff on these discs and spent alot of money on the s*** to throw it all away now. If anybody can help me out I would sure appreciate it.
