SimpleDIVX not working, im out to explode from frustration

I downloaded SimpleDIVX and tried to convert some dvd to avi. It worked great, better than any software I ever tried. Then, next day, I tried again, and it's not working. It hasn't been working since. Here is what happens.

I put all the settings in, and I start the output processing, and when "MPEG2AVI" should load and begin the conversion, an 'mpeg2avi information' box loads with a list of commands, and an "OK" button. I hit the OK button, and nothing happens, everything just stays there. Does anyone know what is going on???? Its driving menuts

Nothing that drives your "nuts" should have a license.

Why, I think you may have a codec problem. Try something else instead of that simple "nut" driver.
