Grayed out options after encoding

Any ideas why my options for sharpness would be greyed out after encoding? When it goes to burn I cannot change from the default sharp. I can do it at work on my work pc, but not on my home pc. Specs are comparible 2.8 gig P 4, 512 meg mem 120 gig HD? What be the prob?

are you sure compression is required? Have you already run a deep analysis?

Well this is after I've done the "Cleanup work" I try to run at no compression or very minimal. When I click the backup. I always change to maximum smoothness at work, at home the option is greyed?
