Video but no audio on backup

I recently burned a backup of a movie that plays fine on my computer (with power DVD) with audio and video. However when I played the same DL disk (uncompressed) on a friends stand alone DVD player it played ok except there was no audio. I used the latest nero to burn the backup and put all ripped files (ie vobs, ifo's, bup's) in the video ts file with nothing in the audio ts file. Am I doing something wrong?

P.S. if you are using DL media that doesn't require compressing the video you are trying to backup is there any reason to use DVD shrink? or can you just use the latest nero and create a video dvd using it?

Try using eiter the remote control or the onscreen DVD menu to select a different audio track...
