CRC Errors after burned

Hi, I have got a big problem. When I burn any DVDs including movies and data, about 1/4 of the time they won't have an error when i use CDCheck to verify them. They have CRC errors. I have tried 4 different kinds of media. I always used to have luck with Memorex, but now thye are iffy. I have a NEC ND-1100A. I've been thinking about buying a new burner. Any help wpuld be appreciated!

Try Verbatim with that burner. Also check if there is a firmware that matches your Memorex.

Hi, my 1100A would only burn good at 2.4x.
Upgraded to 2500 never looked back burning 4x discs @8x.
Now looking at the 3500 16x burner.
