New Please Help

I am tryin to copy lord of the rings and tried using DVD shrink, which works on most other films, this comes up with the message

cyclic redundancy check

What does this mean?

I have also tried DVD43 and DVDdecryptor, both of these fail too
can any1 help please.

A CRC error indicates that there's a problem with the physical DVD (scratched, dirty, Peanut Butter and Jelly) that DVD Shrink cannot resolve. First, try cleaning the DVD. If DVD Shrink still generates this error:

Use DVD Decrypter to "rip" the DVD to your hard drive in "File" mode - and from the "Edit" dropdown menu, select "All files" (NOT "movie files").

Then use DVD Shrink to "Open files" (NOT "Open Disk") - and select "VIDEO_TS.IFO"

I am doing what you suggest, but this message appears on all the lord of the ring titles...

Is this a form of encrpytion do u think?????

I have done what u suggest but again at towards the end a message as usaul, this time it says:-

IO error, this happens to both dvds lord of the rings 1 and 2

Under WHICH software does this error message appear, DVD Decrypter or DVD Shrink?

If it's under DVD Shrink, go to:

HELP

can any1 help as i think i have tried everything suggested now and i still cant copy lord of the rings 2 or 3, the errors are the same

either cyclic redundancy or just cant read the final bit, depending on the programme used.....decryptor or shrink...


any help at all
