DVDINFOPro: What Is It Used For

I've heard about use of this program mentioned for checking out DVD Media or something like that. I have a disk that is sometimes unreadable, but will read after two to four tries.

Is this something DVDINFOPro can check out?

What does that program do? There is a list of things on it's website, but I I don't understand most of it.

There is a lot of goodies in that program:

Show mediacode on discs
Bitsetting
Format RW discs
Compare original files to burned files
Speed test
Read test of burned disc - can the disc be read?

You could run the read test and see graphically how your discs looks - whats is easy read and what portions is hard to read.
