    subtitleproblem with backup (newbie)

I just bought the star wars trilogy and thought it would be nice with a backup of it. Here's the problem. I followed this guide http://www.dvdr-digest.com/articles/24_1.html
(I did it 3 times, followed it exactly) I removed 2 audio tracks and all subs except swedish. When I've finished and made an img-file of it it will not open in powerdvd (mounted with daemon). If i try to open it in dvdshrink it says navigational error...however i did burn it and the movie is just fine but the subs are completely out of sync. The audio is good but the subs is just plain nuts. Anybody here who knows what to do??? I don't want to do it in dvdshrink because it generates poor quality i think.

    Please help...thanks

Try it anyway, using a rewritable (R/W) DVD - you may be pleasantly surprised - and you can always re-use the R/W DVD...
