I have been backing up my DVD's with DVD Shrink from my DVD ROM to a SONY DVD Burner completely unattended with no problem.
My DVD Rom died recently, and I got a new one from the manufacturer. Now DVD Shrink cannot read the DVD from my DVD Rom... it errors out and say the sector is encrypted.
What's going on? Do newer drives have copy protection built in? Is there a way around this?
I can still do attended backups using only my Sony burner, and I'd rather not lay out the cash for a second Sony burner.
Thanks for your help
