2nd and 3rd Chapters of movie loops ...???

Hello all!

I trying to backup my copy of Star Wars IV DVD to 2 DVD-Rs using the Quick DVD Backup Guide (http://www.dvdr-digest.com/articles/18_4.html).

I have followed these steps to the tee with IFOEDIT v.0.95 and v.0.96.

After completing Step 4 (and before burning) I'm testing the movies on both disc1 and disc2 using WinDVD playing from the VIDEO_TS.IFO. Everything is working perfectly except for Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 of the main movie VTS on disc1. For some reason, Chapter 2, which is the classic Star Wars screen crawl, loops entirely 3 times before moving the chapter 3. THEN, chapter 3 loops the first 30 seconds 4 times before continuing normally through the rest of the movie.

Any idea what this is all about?

Perhaps, someone has or knows of a guide for a different "DVD-9 to 2 DVD-R" solution?

I've already tried DVDXCopy Plat. It simply does not work properly. Also, DVDClone2 blows at splitting too.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

The opening credits are "multi-angle"...

I'm not sure what that means in respect to my issue but I really appreciate your reply. I'll start looking into multi-angles stuff and see if I can make a connection.

If you can point me in the right direction I would be most greatful!

I actually just checked by playing the the movie. When I press the angle button on the remote, the screen displays "Angle 1/1" which is telling me that there is only one angle. Doesn't this mean it is NOT multi-angle?
