nero and DVD-R

Is there any way to make nero 6 burn movies to DVD-R it only will burn to DVD+R

Nero will burn both to -R and +R.

If it don't work - does your burner allow for both -/+?

Thanks I think it only burns DVD+R It says DVD+rewritable on front is there any way to change this by installing other drivers

Some burners can be flashed to do that - it's true. I don't know what brand you have. But a burner that can only burn + media is most certain an oldie. The best way is to get a new burner.

Can you post a neroinfotool log so we can see more info about your drive and firmware it has at the moment...
