Capture Device?

I want to burn dvd's from all the vhs tapes I have, My new computer can burn dvd's. How do I connect my vcr to my pc? Somebody told me I need a capture device to do this. How do i do this, and where do I get a capture device? I'm a rookie at this. THankyou. Smitty.
