DVD back-up will play on comp but freezes in many players

First off i have a Lite-in DVD burner an useing memorex DVD-. I want to split the DVD "Catch me if you can" in to two DVD's. I used the Instructions On DvD digest. The dvd will play on my computer but will freeze on the player or wont even start. Is it the burner? I have buned dvd's useing a different Method with DVD shirk and Decrypter and the worked on the player but there not very good quality and i wold like the best quality i can get.

To find out if it is in the burning process or in the playing process you have your problem - do this test;

Download www.dvdinfopro.com (freeware) insert one of your burned disc and selelct the option "Test your media for CRC read errors" - if you only get green dots you know that your burning is ok and it is the player that causes the problem. If you get any read dots - you know something else.

I Need Help Please

I ran the DVDInfo Program IT said my DVD was fine but it will still not play on my JVC player. I have backed it up useing the DVD9 to two DVD5's useing DVD Digest Guide.
