Nero 6 Multisession Failure

Nero Express 6 warns that you can't read some data files in a multisession DVD burn. Why?? I know it's true because I tried successfully burning about 1 GB of files on a DVD-R, then added some more in another session. Can only see the later files.

Multisession works on CD-R and DVD-RW, why not DVD-R? Confused and a wasted DVD. Nero's help screens are helpless in this respect.

Due to format specifications it will not work with -R discs.

Shopping around I can get RW's for little more than a recordable DVD. Added bonus with RW is the packet-writing. Just overwrite or delete updated/unwanted files.

Thanks all - from now on, I'll junk DVD-R and go all the way with DVD-RW. Save me heaps in the long run.
