4GB Folder

hi folks

i have made a copy of a folder that is about 4 GB in size onto a dvd disc (there are a collection of files in the folder ....to be exact video/audio playback files for windows media player) I know my dvd player/writer can open this folder, but what i would like to know is will a normal cd writer/player be able to open such a large folder? Can anyone please enlighten me on the matter? Thank you.

The reason i ask is i want a friend of mine to see these videos & mp3's on his pc & he only has a cd rom/writer

Nope! CD devices cannot read a DVD, sorry

It is probably a combined DVD ROM/CD Writer.
