No audio on dvd burn stumped

I tried using nero to burn dvd. I can play fine through windows media with sound. However when I try to play in my dvd hooked up to my T.V I get picture but no sound any ideas. I have been on this for two days someone please help.

Which s/w did you use to create your DVD? Did you remove any audio streams?

Have you tried selecting a dfferent audio stream via your remote?

I used a bi torrent download I converted file from .avi to .ifo and various other dvd files using dvd santa I did not remove anything like I said I can play fine through various media players on my computer however I cannot play on my T.V's DVD player
