    Burning at 1x

    Hi, I am using ritek tango g05 media. It is rated at 4x but I want to burn at 1x as player seems to have trouble with discs burned at a higher speed. In Nero before disc is inserted I have the option of 1x but after inserting disc it changes to only 4x,6x or 8x. How can I get it to burn at 1x? Maybe if I selected 1x before inserting disc and hit burn and then insert disc, that would work? Thanks in advance!

      Nero reads the write strategies from the disc. So I don't think that you can override that setting.

      You have the latest firmware for your burner installed?

          Yes, I do have latest firmware. I take it I can't burn at 1x unless I get new discs then as these must not support that speed.
