Can not find D: or E: drives

I've been playing around with Decrypter and DVD Shrink 3.2 this a.m. I made a couple of burns, and ripped Matrix with Decrypter. I was going to go through the DVDShrink process to encode and burn, but it can't find D: (my LG CD-ROM internal) or E: (my BENQ external via USB 2.0).

I checked with Windows Explorer and My Computer as well, and they don't "exist".

When I go to Device Manger, it gives me the following error for both drives: Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.

The only other thing I've done this a.m. is uninstall Roxio Easy CD creator.

What could possibly be going on here? Any ideas on how to fix this?

By the way, I've made several burns with these 2 programs in the past, with no problems

If the problem has only recently come about.... perfom a quick "System Restore" to when you know eveything was working correctly.

If the "System Restore" doesn't do the trick, open your Control Panel and select "Add New Hardware"...

Thanks for the help guys. System restore to just before removing roxio did the trick. Not sure why, but doesn't really matter now, cause it works.
