I have been backing up Dvd's for about 6 months now with no problems(this site is extremely helpful). I recently ran into some trouble. When I try to backup the disc, dvd shrink tells me that there is not enough space on the target drive. No matter what I do I cant seem to fix it. Help!

I dont think that is the problem, i have 1.74 gb of free space on my hard drive. I only need about 4,500 mb for the file. Im so confused.Comment

1.74 GB is not enough to back up even a single layer DVD-5 4.7 GB Movie. You need more space.Cheers!

Yes, you are confused. 4,500Mb is more than 4Gb - and you state that you have (only) 1.74Gb free...Comment
